When the Gerald R. Ford International Airport looked to launch its most ambitious project yet, it turned to Sabo PR to engage its stakeholders and build awareness in the broader community. Project Elevate, a three-development expansion, is set to transform the passenger experience through a new concourse, relocated air traffic control tower and federal inspection station, which will allow international travel for commercial flights.
Working closely with its leadership and engineering teams, we developed strong messaging for the very complex project that could be used in press releases, stakeholders letters, including elected representatives, website, social media and collateral. A press conference featuring leaders from the West Michigan community was held and very well attended both by key stakeholders and local media.
The launch was covered by Crain’s Detroit Business, FOX 17, Grand Rapids Business Journal, Grand Rapids Press, WOOD TV8, WZZM 13, local radio stations and numerous trade publications.
