Students in Grand Rapids Community College’s Public Works Academy gain hands-on experience preparing for rewarding careers in area municipalities. The specialized workforce training just got a boost with a truck donation from the City of Kentwood that will help the next generation of public works professionals gain in-demand skills for a variety of roles in the field.
