Sabo PR Moves to New Office and Photo Studio
Announces Schedule for Rademacher Writing Workshops, Drop-in Headshots
Grand Rapids, Michigan, February 29, 2016 – Sabo PR has moved into a new office and photo studio in Grand Rapids that will enable the team to offer enhanced services to clients.
The full-service communications firm opens its doors today at 401 Hall Street SW, Suite 463 B, leasing 1,623 square feet of office and photo studio space in a former Steelcase factory that has been transformed into loft-style office space. The open floor plan, designed by Mary Dixon of Dixon Interior Design, features office furniture from some of West Michigan’s leading manufacturers – including Herman Miller, Izzy+, Cleo and Kentwood Office Furniture – as well as residential elements from Eilersen and West Elm.
Sabo PR is sharing the 100-year-old facility with other growing businesses and creative agencies, including GR Makers, Mindutopia web designers, Studio M Interiors, DVS Digital Marketing and Studio D2D event space.
Sabo PR’s new space will allow it to:
- Expand its visual capabilities to create exceptional product photography, photo illustrations, stock photos and more through a dedicated photo studio.
- Offer clients and the Grand Rapids business community the convenience of drop-in headshots every Friday from 9 a.m. to noon, starting March 18. Sabo PR Photo-Video Guru T.J. Hamilton will be set up to capture professional headshots that can be used to announce new employees, promotions, awards and other accomplishments.
- Host “Writing Matters” workshops with acclaimed storyteller Tom Rademacher, who will share tips on harnessing the power of the written word starting Friday, March 18. His monthly workshops are open to all Sabo PR clients and, space permitting, the public.
“Our new space mirrors the trend in contemporary office floor plans that offers flexibility for whatever task is at hand,” said Mary Ann Sabo, founder and president of Sabo PR. “Our growing team has comfortable sit-or-stand work spaces that encourage collaboration – or allow concentration. We have a formal conference area where we can easily host Tom’s writing workshops or large client meetings – as well as cozy conversation space for smaller gatherings.
“We’re particularly pleased with the new dedicated studio space that will enable us to offer weekly drop-in time for clients who need a headshot and don’t want the expense of us coming to them for one photo. Our convenient location just off 131 South and Hall Street makes us easy to get to – and you certainly can’t beat the free parking.”
Sabo PR plans to host an open house in March.
