Those of you who know SPR know that we like to tease good news by changing our cover photo well in advance. So today’s the day we can finally share what prompted this most recent change, although the news is bittersweet for us: Amy Snow-Buckner, a senior associate who joined our team in January, is leaving Sabo PR.

We are incredibly sad to lose Amy — she has done a stellar job over the last year, leading several client teams through some fun (and challenging) projects, as well as helping us up our game on accuracy and AP Style by serving as firm proofreader. She’s plugged seamlessly into our team and has been a true joy to work with.

So why the champagne? That’s part two: We are rejoicing with Amy as she prepares to embark on her next chapter: chief of staff for incoming Grand Rapids Mayor Rosalynn Bliss. We at SPR are big fans of the new mayor and are so delighted for Rosalynn, the city of Grand Rapids and, most of all, for Amy. We expect they will do good things for our community in the next four years — and beyond.

Amy, on behalf of all of us at SPR, thanks for the wonderful work you have helped us accomplish this past year. We have truly enjoyed having you on the team and will miss you immensely.
